Warriors vs Timberwolves Pick

The Warriors will look to extend their five game win streak when they welcome the Timberwolves to Chase Center. The Warriors have been untouchable, winning a league-best nine games. They’re yet to face a top tier opponent but should make light work of the Timberwolves.

Stephen Curry is the man of the moment after exploding for 50 points against the Hawks on Monday. He’s been able to take it easy in some games thanks to the fantastic play of Jordan Poole. The third-year guard is averaging 22.4 points per game on 41.7% shooting from deep during the Warriors’ five game win streak.

The struggling Timberwolves are led by Karl-Anthony Towns. His rebounding and blocks are down this season but it’s still early days. Towns will need D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards to help with the scoring load if they are to keep up with the Warriors. Minnesota have the third worst field goal percentage in the league, an issue that must be addressed if they are to start winning games.

The Warriors have covered the spread three times when favorites to win by 7 or more. Expect them to do it again Wednesday night against Minnesota.

Pick: Golden State -7
