The Nets are finally home after spending 10 days on the road. It was a successful roadtrip for Brooklyn, going 5-1 with their only loss coming against the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately for them they now face the the Golden State Warriors who own the best record in the league.
The Warriors come into the game with the healthier roster with Gary Payton II a game-time decision. Payton is averaging 1.4 steals per game and has a 34.5 net rating, the highest of any play averaging over ten minutes per game. Steph Curry and the Warriors will be focused enough to shake off their loss against Charlotte and kick start another incredible run. The Warriors are 8-0 ATS against teams with a winning percentage higher than 0.600 and they lead the league with a defensive rating of 99.3
With Kyrie Irving out, Brooklyn have had to rely heavily on Kevin Durant and James Harden. The duo account for 45.3% of the Net’s scoring output and will need to take things up a notch against the league’s best defense. Brooklyn’s limited bench options give the Nets second rotation a -7.1 net rating so Steve Nash will have his work cut out against a cohesive Warriors unit.
Golden State have won the only game they’ve played as the underdog this season. Brooklyn meanwhile are 1-2 against top-10 defenses and could struggle against the league’s best defense.

Utah Jazz (8-5) vs Philadelphia 76ers (8-6)

The Covid-hit Philadelphia 76ers are aiming to snap their four-game losing streak in Utah. The Jazz meanwhile have lost four of their last five and will hope to return to their winning ways at home.
Utah have a 3-4 record ATS when 8-point favorites or more. Donovan Mitchell is having another stellar season putting up 25.6 points per game and Rudy Gobert is pulling down a league leading 15.3 points per game.
Tobias Harris’s much needed return from Covid protocols has given the Sixers a boost but not enough to translate to wins. Second-year guard Tyrese Maxey has been impressive this season as has Seth Curry who is averaging 2.5 three pointers per game.
Both teams have stayed under nine times this season and this game should be no different. The Sixers are averaging totals of 215.9 points per game and the Jazz have only gone over 218 points on three occasions.

The Clippers are 7-3 in their last ten and now play host to San Antonio. The Spurs are struggling this season, going 1-7 against Western Conference competition and 2-6 against opponents with winning records.
Los Angeles are playing their third game in four days. They will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to the Bulls where they only shot 35.8% from the field. Paul George has been doing it all for the Clippers this season with averages of 26.6 points per game, 8.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
San Antonio may be the superior shooting team but they have failed to translate their shooting prowess into wins. The Spurs are 1-7 ATS as the underdog and 4-3 ATS on the road. Dejounte Murray is having a career year averaging 18.4 points per game, 7.8 rebounds and 8 assists.
Both teams perform well after losing, sharing a 5-3 ATS record for games after a loss. Los Angeles should bounce back stronger at home especially if supporting members like Reggie Jackson perform well.
