Steph Curry is set to become the NBA’s all-time leader in three-pointers. He trails Ray Allen by 15 threes, needing only 16 to cement his status as the greatest shooter the league as ever seen.

Curry currently averages a league-leading 5.5 three-pointers per game. The most three-pointers he’s ever scored in one game is 13. With all that in mind, we look ahead to the Warriors’ next four games to predict when Curry will make history.

Steph Curry vs Portland

Wednesday December 8

Last Outing vs Trail Blazers: 6 three-pointers (Nov 26, 2021)

If I was Curry, this game makes the most sense for me. It’s a home game against a depleted Blazers squad and more importantly, it allows him to break two records in one go: Ray Allen’s all-time record and Klay Thompson’s record for 14 threes in a game.

When asked which record would be more fun to break, Steph responded “1A and 1B”.

Steph Curry, when asked which record would be more fun to break — Klay's 14 in a game or Ray Allen's all time record: "1A and 1B"

He went on to say “I’m not shy about shooting the ball, so the game will dictate what that looks like. I’m not coming out with that as a true goal.”

Warriors coach Steve Kerr has seemingly given Curry the green light to let loose against Portland saying, “I’m fully aware he’s 15 away. And I’m guessing he’s going to shoot a lot against Portland.”

Curry would need to score 16 threes in one game, definitely not an impossible feat from the sharpshooter.

Steph Curry at Philadelphia

Saturday December 11

Last Outing vs 76ers: 6 three-pointers (Nov 24, 2021)

It’s always good to shatter records with family around so why not in Philadelphia? It would be a family-affair with brother Seth Curry playing for the Sixers and brother-in-law Damion Lee by his side on the Warriors.

Steph Curry at Indiana

Monday December 13

Last Outing vs Pacers: 1 three-pointer (Feb 24, 2021)

This game is the least appealing fixture on the calendar. Indiana fans of course will be use to seeing three-point records made thanks to Reggie Miller. Curry passed Miller to go second all-time back in January. Given Curry’s current shooting pace, he’s on track to break the record books during the fourth quarter in Indiana.

Steph Curry at New York

Tuesday December 14

Last Outing vs Knicks: 7 three-pointers (Feb 23, 2021)

Breaking the record at the Garden would be monumental. Steph had his breakout game back in 2013 against the Knicks, draining 11 triples to put his name on the map.

Five players have broken their career-highs this season at Madison Square Garden. Will Steph be the sixth? Seeing him eclipse 62 points and shatter the three-point record in the world’s greatest arena would be something special.
