Warriors vs Bulls Pick
The top two teams in the NBA come face to face on Friday night at Chase Center. The Bulls’ visit is set to be the first real test of the season for Golden State who have racked up six consecutive wins at home, beating opponents by an average of 20.7 points.
Chicago brings the league’s highest scoring duo to town. DeMar Derozan and Zach Lavine average a combined 51.9 points per game. The Bulls however will be missing big man Nikola Vucevic who has been sidelined with Covid. Tony Bradley looks to slot into the starting lineup as his replacement.
Steph Curry is having another career year, leading the Warriors to the best record in the league. The team has adopted a defensive mindset this season and currently have the best defensive rating in the league at 99.2. The Warriors have been a good rebounding team and should have the edge on the boards against the Bulls with Vucevic out.
The Bulls rank last in attempted three pointers and that may hurt them against the Warriors. Despite leading the league in mid-range jump shots, they could fail to keep up with Golden State especially if Curry or Jordan Poole catch fire early on.
