2022 NBA Draft Favorites
Jabari Smith Jr. (+100)
Jabari Smith Jr. impressed scouts with his two-way potential as a rangy combo-forward with great length, mobility, and skill. With season averages of 16.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, Smith took it up a notch in Auburn’s last nine averaging 19.5 and 9.1.
Chet Holmgren (+165)
Holmgren averaged 14.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.4 blocks as a freshman. Despite his lanky frame, his unique skill set on both sides of the ball could see him succeed in the NBA. Holmgren runs the floor with ease and can shoot and score off the dribble. On the defensive end he’s extremely mobile and has superb shot-blocking instincts.
Paolo Banchero (+275)
Paolo Banchero heads into the NBA draft having led Duke to the Final Four with averages of 17.2 points and 7.8 rebounds. Banchero has the ability to threaten defenses as both a shot creator and playmaker. At 6-foot-10, 250 pounds, Banchero is a defensive headache as he’s too quick for bigs but too strong and physical for guards.
Jaden Ivey (+5,000)
Ivey is an explosive guard with incredible handles and a tenacious dunker. With long arms and quick reflexes, Ivey is set to be a great NBA defender with the ability to guard multiple positions.
Keegan Murray (+10,000)
Murray was the country’s top scorer among March Madness teams with 23.5 points per game. The sophomore is a fantastic shooter but questions remain about his playmaking. Murray will be one of the older players in the draft having spent one year in prep school before joining Iowa.
