Warriors vs Trail Blazers Prediction
Golden State can extend its five-game winning streak with a victory over Portland on Friday. Portland meanwhile are looking to bounce back from their tough loss to Sacramento.
The Warriors are proving hard to beat at home (or on the road for that matter). They’ve only dropped one game at the Chase Center and recently overcame a 19-point deficit at home to the Sixers to win 116-96. Golden State have won every home game by an average of 20.6 points.
Portland meanwhile will be glad to see Damian Lillard out of his shooting funk. Lillard has now hit 31 of his last 76 threes so fans could be treated to a shootout between him and Steph Curry.
Golden State have the edge over Portland given that they are superior in nearly every statistical category. Their depth is a big reason for their success and spectacular 16-2 start. With the likes of Jordan Poole and Gary Payton II playing impressively, the Blazers will need more than an improving Damian Lillard to cover the spread.
Pick: Golden State -6.5
