Bucks vs Lakers
These two Championship contenders have both been hampered by injuries. The Bucks however could be welcoming Khris Middleton back into the fold which is good news considering they went 3-5 without him. A healthy Middleton will give the Bucks their ‘Big 3’, something the Lakers hope to get back on Friday when LeBron is expected to return from injury.
Milwaukee have played poorly lately and Giannis’ shooting from the field and the line has regressed in November. Despite putting up solid numbers against Atlanta, the Greek Freak has a plus-minus of -9. He’ll face another tough night in the paint against the Lakers who have Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and even DeAndre Jordan to keep the Finals MVP at bay.
The Lakers have the talent to win but so far have enjoyed little consistency since LeBron’s injury. The emergence of Talen Horton-Tucker has been welcomed by Lakers fans. The guard averaged 22.5 points, 5 rebounds and 1.5 assists over the last two games and will provide a much needed spark for a seemingly lethargic Lakers squad.
If the Lakers can get it firing on all cylinders the Bucks could find themselves in a three-game losing streak. Davis, Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony will all need to show up but if they do, expect them to cover the spread easily against the Bucks.
Pick: Los Angeles Lakers +8
