Kyrie Irving takes to Instagram Live to plead his case though it appears the Brooklyn Nets are not so keen on offering him a $186 million extension.
Making Headlines
Kyrie Irving has hit out at reports that he might be retiring. The Brooklyn Nets guard went on Instagram Live to clarify rumors saying, “I’m not retiring and no I’m not leaving this game like this”. He also explained his vaccine situation saying, “I chose to be unvaccinated, and that was my choice. And I would ask y’all just to respect that choice.”
Irving’s decision to remain unvaccinated will also reduce the chances of him signing a $186 million contract extension. Whilst the Nets respects his choice as an individual it’s unlikely they’ll be offering an extension to a part-time player who refuses to be an active member of the team.
