Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson ripped Boston’s fans for being rude in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The 5-time All-Star took shots at the crowd when asked if the boisterous crowd at the Garden had anything to do with Golden State’s 116-100 loss.
Thompson made it clear that he had experienced rude crowds before and sarcastically labeled Boston fans “classy”.
Boston fans were quick to react to his comments. Some pointed out that Thompson’s teammate Draymond Green wasn’t any better.
An old Klay comment about players’ feelings getting hurt came back to haunt him.
Another reminded us how Warriors fans treated Charles Barkley after he called them ‘obnoxious’.
Meanwhile one Celtics fan shared their parenting philosophy.
Klay Thompson and the Warriors will have to face the Boston crowd again in Game 4 on Friday.
