Golden State Warriors forward Klay Thompson has a knack for being unintentionally entertaining. The four-time champ didn’t disappoint as he took things to the next level at the Warriors Championship parade on Monday.
Klay loses his hat
It was hats off to the Golden State Warriors today, something Klay Thompson took a little too literally while out on his boat.
He learned the hard way that the oceans gives and the ocean takes.
Klay later arrived at the championship parade with his trusty captain’s hat and explained why he lost his hat.
Cracks up Steph and Draymond
Klay had teammates Draymond Green and Steph Curry laughing their heads off as he talked about the ‘little wins’.
“Just going to breakfast on Saturday morning, seeing people excited, seeing a standing ovation from the chef and waiters. It’s about the little wins. Taking a picture with an old lady.”
Dances like Michael Jackson
Klay jumped out of the bus with the Larry O’Brien trophy to greet fans and treated them to some Michael Jackson dance moves.
Knocks over a Warriors fan
Klay got off the Warriors float again and tripped as he rushed to greet the crowd. Unfortunately he took out a female fan in the process but she seemed to be ok.
Drops championship ring on the street
Later on when slapping high-fives with fans, Klay drops one of his three championship rings. Some fans thought he was joking but he managed to find it before giving it a kiss.
It was a day to remember for Klay and Warriors fans. Who knows what will happen next year if the Warriors repeat?
