A new fight between Miesha “Cupcake” Tate and Ketlen “Fenômeno” Vieira has been announced in the UFC women’s Bantamweight division and will take place on the October 16th card.

Tate most recently appeared at UFC Vegas 31, taking on and defeating Marion Reneau via KO/TKO in a Bantamweight bout. Tate went into the fight as the -180 slight favorite, earnng a performance of the night bonus cheque for her efforts. The win snapped a 2 fight skid after a lengthy retirement. Tate’s professional MMA record currently sits at 19-7.
In her most recent octagon appearance, Vieira was defeated by Yana Kunitskaya via Decision at UFC Vegas 19 in a Catchweight bout. Vieria had missed weight – tipping the scales at 138 lbs. Despite the weight miss, she was the moderate favorite in the fight, coming in at -275. Vieira’s professional MMA record currently sits at 11-2.
