Ferreria lays out an effective game plan for Dariush:
“I think he has to be the most aggressive making Makhachev walk back a little bit. Keep the pressure where he keeps [it]. Getting to the takedowns, the clinch and he works very well in the clinch. And I think there’s a big chance [with] that. Trying to play around. Not shooting too much. Make the cage smaller. Get the takedown at the end of the cage.
“I don’t see a submission but I can see holding for a long time. Dariush knows how to hold him down. That’s the most trouble they gonna have in the fight. To take Dariush out, it’s tough. I know how it is. I think that what he needs to keep the game.
“I think Dariush will have a chance to take that fight. I think he’s the favorite for me. I’m looking to see him take this win.”
