UFC bantamweight Tony Kelley has called into question Randy Costa‘s staying power ahead of their clash at UFC 269.
While giving due credit to Costa’s toughness and punching, Kelley did also point to his opponent’s youth and durability in an interview with The AllStar’s John Hyon Ko. Costa, 27, is currently favored to win the fight against his 34-year-old rival on Dec. 11.
“It’s going to be fireworks definitely,” Kelley said. “We’re going to see who breaks first. I’ve never broke. I don’t have break in me, I don’t have quit in me. We’ll just find out.”
“At the end of the day, he’s kind of a young kid, he’s one of the front-runners, he’s super tough, he’s doing well until he’s not. I think he’s got a little bit of quit in him and I’m going to test that theory.”
“Primetime” also spoke to the AllStar about:
- Andrea Lee‘s victory over Cynthia Calvillo
- Recovering from a shoulder injury
- Staying home for training camp
